Linköping University, Department of Computer and Information Science, announces two open PhD positions in the area of Generative AI and Machine Learning. The successful candidates will contribute to the development of innovative machine learning methods aimed at accelerating materials discovery, within the context of collaborative projects under the WASP (Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program) and WISE (Wallenberg Initiative Material Science for Sustainability) initiatives.
Requirements:
– A strong background in computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, materials science, or related fields
– Demonstrated interest in generative AI and its application to materials discovery
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Proficiency in programming and relevant computational tools
– Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary research environment
