The Smart Internet Lab at the University of Bristol invites applications for 3–4 research positions focused on advancing artificial intelligence and machine learning for 6G networks and distributed network systems. Successful candidates will engage in leading-edge research and development of hardware and software solutions in collaboration with prominent industry partners, including BT, Nokia, and Samsung.
Requirements:
– Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML, telecommunications, or related disciplines
– Strong research background relevant to network systems or 6G technologies
– Ability to work collaboratively within academic and industrial teams
– Excellent communication and organizational skills
Contract type: Open-ended, with fixed funding until 31 March 2026 and strong prospects for extension.
