The Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at Concordia University invites applications for a funded PhD position in the Sustainable Electrochemical Technologies (SET) Lab, led by Dr. Marc-Antoni Goulet. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of electrochemical methods for recycling battery materials as part of the Volt-Age program, with a focus on sodium-ion batteries.
Requirements:
– Master’s degree in physics, chemistry, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, or materials engineering
– Research experience with electrochemical methods
This is a fully funded 4-year position, offering the opportunity to gain expertise in electrochemical systems, battery materials, and computational optimization. The start date is September 2025.
